The 1-day Sedex Training is designed for Sedex Supplier (B) Members who are either new users of Sedex or more experienced Sedex users that would like to get more out of their account. However, the training is also very useful to anyone who like to learn more about ethical trade, Sedex and/or managing sustainability risks in supply chains.
This session offers a general overview of Sedex, ethical trade and key elements of an effective sustainability management system, along with instruction on how to use the Sedex system effectively.
While many Sedex Supplier (B) Members find all the help they need on the Sedex e-Learning, you may find it useful to attend this dedicated training session. The workshop character of the training provides the opportunity to discuss open questions and exchange ideas with other participants.
During this training you will learn:
- What Sedex is and how it can support your sustainability and responsible sourcing strategy
- What the expectation of your customers and suppliers may be, how to engage with them and how to best use Sedex tools to support this
- How to efficiently manage ethical information on Sedex Advance (add sites of employment, link to customers and suppliers, complete the Self-Assessment Questionnaire, add audits and complete corrective actions)
- What the key requirements of an ethical audit are and useful information on how to prepare for one

The 1 – day Sedex Training is free of charge for all Sedex members, however registration is required. The price for non-Sedex members is € 175,- (exclusive VAT 21%) per delegate. Training documentation as well as free parking, lunch and drinks are included.
